Made from Raw Organic Unrefined African shea butter whipped with voluptuous oils, essential oils and a decadent fragrance, our Nutty Butter is soft to touch, easy to apply and retains all the healing and moisturizing properties of shea butter. 

This whipped Shea body butter moisturizes deeply, evens, soothes and heals the skin.

Suitable for: Use on the body for all skin tones and types. 

Ingredients

Organic Unrefined Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Jojoba Oil, Essential Oils, and Fragrance.

Directions

Use daily.

Take a small portion, rub in palms gently and massage into skin.

During the day, follow with application of sunscreen of at least SPF 50

Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Too thick for skin. Great for hair.

This product is just a little lighter than plain shea butter so it is definitely too thick for skin. Will just sit on my skin, and make me feel hot and sticky (are we meant to emulsify it?).
So I use it for my 4C hair. And it is great for that, because it has a nice, unique scent, and is lighter than typical hair pomade (which my hair does not absorb), but thicker than the oyibo hair creams I switched to that just disappears in my hair.
But then it is a little pricey for the size, considering it seems just to be shea butter emulsified with some coconut and kernel oil (see why it is good for hair?) but maybe it is not? Maybe it is pricey for some undisclosed reason.
I like the formula and that crazy scent, but I will be switching to buying plain shea butter and mixing in my coconut oil myself. It won't be as silky, but good enough and, I am broke.
But thank you for the idea. And I would definitely recommend it to my 4c girls-- especially if it came in bigger sizes.
